Theatre Technician | Crawley

Full Time

The Hawth Theatre in Crawley is looking for experienced Theatre Technician(s) to join our Technical Department to assist in the running of a busy programme of shows and events.

 

Duties of the role include, but not limited to

  • Completing pre-rigs, fit ups and get-outs.

  • Working directly on performances and events as the LX Designer / Operator.

  • Acting as Duty Technician for performances as required by the rota.

  • Managing sound, stage, flys, follow spots and projections.

  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping including some building and equipment.

The Person

  • Experienced in programming/operating ETC Ion and DiGiCo control desks.

  • Experience working with touring productions across theatre and music.

  • The ability to work as part of a team to achieve high-quality results.

Applications are sought from interested candidates with any level of experience. The role on offer is entry level, however there is potential for a Senior position to be offered to the right candidate.
