Business Systems Team LeaderResponsibilities
Full time
40 hours per week
Remote or hybrid working from Chorley

The successful candidate will be required to undertake the following; however, this list is not exhaustive:
Manage a team to provide application support, system configuration, maintenance, support and training
Manage the services desk and ensure all tickets are getting resolved in a timely fashion.
To manage the first-line ticket escalation process.
To lead on projects and daily operations of the service desk.
Managing the phone operation of the service desk.
Observe and influence the development of customer care skills within the team, leading by example and training as required.
Take personal responsibility for service delivery.
Highlight activities or issues within the team that might have a financial implication, such as travel.
When required, contribute to and participate in the recruitment and induction of new team members.
Assisting with system updates, testing and integrating new features
Ability to work on multiple ongoing projects with multiple stakeholders
Reviewing procedures and ensuring these are relevant and up-to-date
Support Operational and Head Office departments in relation to existing system features/configuration.
The Person
The successful candidate must possess the following skills:
Must be IT proficient with experience in system configuration and maintenance
Understanding and experience of systems and how they support improved organisational effectiveness
The ability to work with others in defining and implementing new business systems
Meticulous, organised, enthusiastic and hardworking
Have good communication skills and be able to build strong relationships with others
Experience in project management
Proven ability to work within tight deadlines and timescales
Able to work with a high degree of independence and as part of a team
Good time management and the willingness to take a hands on approach
Able to work from different locations and travel to sites when needed
