Would you like a job working in golf? Then we've got a fantastic opportunity. Tilgate Forest Golf Centre has a fantastic tree-lined 18-hole course, TopTracer driving range and the Nineteen Bar & Kitchen.

We are now looking for a Golf Service Assistant to join our team. The role would suit someone with previous leisure/hospitality/bar experience and a good understanding of customer service. But more important is your ability to bring a huge smile and bags of enthusiasm!

This is a casual position, paid up to £11.44 per hour, depending on experience. You must be able to work weekends and early/late shifts.

Duties include:

• Checking-in golfers at reception and on the first tee

• Booking tee times and using tills

• Bar & Restaurant duties

• Preparing hire buggies for customers

• Operating range buggies

• Keeping the clubhouse and driving range clean & well-presented

• Support with evening functions

You will be based with our Clubhouse team, located within the stunning surroundings of Tilgate Forest. Experience of working in a golf/restaurant environment is preferred, but full training is provided.

Due to the busy nature of our golf courses, hours of work will be on weekends with some additional coverage in the week.

Requirements of successful candidate:

• 5-Star customer service skills/experience

• Good Communicator

• Friendly disposition

• Good Organisational skills

• Interest in golf preferred but not essential

You will be based in our new state-of-the-art clubhouse, located within the stunning surroundings of Tilgate Forest.

Experience of working in a golf/hospitality environment is preferred, but full training is provided.
