We're delighted to introduce Yasmin, one of our dedicated volunteers and a 2nd-year Zoology student atSwansea University. Her passion for animal conservation and behaviour is inspiring, and she’s already making a fantastic contribution here atParkwood Leisure's Plantasia Tropical Zoo.

Yasmin’s favourite studies focus on how animal behaviour impacts conservation efforts and distribution, and she’s eager to pursue a career in this field after graduation.

Her favourite part of volunteering? Sharing knowledge with visitors and deepening her understanding of the animals – even chatting with them on quieter days!
She’s particularly fascinated by Nala the leopard cat, the meerkats, and Kong the bearded dragon, but says all our animals are "really cool."
