Beck Theatre in Hayes is looking for an experienced Theatre Technician to join our Technical Department to assist in the running of a busy programme of shows and events.

Duties of the role

• Completing pre-rigs, fit ups and get-outs

• Working directly on performances and events

• Managing sound, stage, flys, follow spots and projections

The Person

The ideal candidate would be proficient in all aspects of technical theatre, including projection and A/V, lighting, sound, flying, get-ins/outs, and rigging. A sound bias would be advantageous. The candidate will also be computer-literate, and able to work with associated software, including Q-Lab. A good knowledge of health and safety is desirable, as is a demonstrable ability in general maintenance. Also desirable would be a knowledge of (or qualification in) electrics. Attitude is important, as enthusiasm to learn and succeed is vital.
