As a Swim Instructor, you will have the opportunity to educate and progress children through our swimming lesson programme.
Meet Kim, who combines her work in the Fire and Rescue service alongside being a swimming teacher at her local swimming pool. Whether you’re looking for full-time or part-time work, swim teaching offers great flexibility and life satisfaction for you. There’s also lots of routes to re-train that are reducing barriers for many.
Our programme starts from parent and baby up to competitive level, incorporating RLSS approved water safety criteria to not just ensure that children can swim, but can also make safe and smart decisions around the water.
Level 2 up to £17.50 (this will vary between each site)
Ideally you will already hold a current SEQ qualification, but if you show us that you are the right candidate, a competent swimmer and keen to learn we will be happy to put you through your training *subject to meeting requirements*. We’ll also ensure that you receive a full induction and regular training so you can be the best you can be.

*Requirements* You must be 16 or over to take the final assessment. You must be able to swim 100 metres continuously, tread water for 30 seconds in deep water, surface dive to the floor of the pool and climb out unaided without steps.
